Legion of Mary Celebrates Golden Jubilee at Carmelite Monastery, Margao
On 15th October, the Legion of Mary marked a momentous occasion as it celebrated the 50th anniversary of its establishment at the Carmelite Monastery, Margao. This golden jubilee was a tribute to five decades of unwavering faith, dedication, and service to the Blessed Mother and the Church.
The celebration began with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass, presided over by the Priest-in-Charge, Fr. Anthony D’Souza, who spoke passionately about the enduring mission and commitment of the Legion of Mary. In his homily, he emphasized the group’s role in spreading Marian devotion, evangelization, and community service.
