On Sunday 29th Sept,2024, our Carmelite monastery buzzed with excitement as catechism children from classes 1 to 9 participated in a quiz competition themed “Exploring the Life and Legacy of St. Teresa of Avila: A Spiritual Journey.” Four teams—Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John—competed in four rounds of questions.
The atmosphere was electric, with cheers and encouragement echoing throughout the hall. In a nail-biting finish, Team John emerged victorious, clinching the win with a decisive 10-point margin. This friendly rivalry not only highlighted the children’s knowledge but also deepened their appreciation for St. Teresa of Avila’s remarkable contributions to spirituality.
The day concluded with smiles, laughter, and a renewed sense of community, leaving everyone inspired by the legacy of this great Carmelite saint.
