
Margao Catenian Circle 358 under the jurisdiction of Area 30 (Panjim) comprise of 49 brothers and functions from the Carmelite Monastery. It has its monthly council meeting every 2nd Thursday and its Circle mtg on the 3rd Thursday at Carmelite monastery.
1. Catenians are an association of Catholic laymen who are committed to their faith, their families, to those in need and to each other. The primary purpose is to establish a network of friends, which enhances their family life, strengthens their faith and sustains them in difficult times. Catenians support each other, the church, young people and those in need.
2. Catenians friendships are developed by meeting together locally once a month and enjoying a varied programme and social events together with our families and widows of members.
3. Our aims and values are: –
a. Foster brotherly love and social bonds.
b. Support one another in practice of our faith.
c. Support each other as and when the need arises.
d. financial support from Benevolent Fund.
e. Develop young Catholics and assist them in pursuit of a career.
f. Help Clergy and support Vocation to religious life.
g. Support charities considered worthy and relevant.
